Senior Payroll Administrator – Nottingham office

We are looking to recruit an experienced Payroll Administrator. You will be responsible for processing multiple payrolls paid across monthly, weekly and four weekly. The role will suit payroll professionals with a strong command of payroll legislation and with proven analytical skills.

Your duties will include:

  • Verification and input of data including starters and leavers.
  • Correct application of PAYE, NI, court orders etc.
  • To process payrolls following the companies documented procedures.
  • To reconcile payrolls following the companies documented procedures.
  • To maintain and improve customer relations.
  • Marketing of payroll services.
  • Year end balancing and reporting.
  • To complete returns to statutory bodies and other third parties.
  • To respond to queries in a timely and accurate manner.
  • To maintain an efficient filing system for confidential customer information.

Skills required:

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to process payrolls both manually and using computerised systems.
  • Good keyboard skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Will work well in a team and under pressure of deadlines.
